Independent College Foundation
The Louisiana Independent College Foundation was established
in 1952 to provide Louisiana businesses, corporations, and foundations
with a cost-effective and time-efficient way to support private
higher education in Louisiana. Of the ten independent college and
universities that are members of LAICU, six are members of the foundation.

In addition to conducting an annual solicitation campaign,
LICF manages a student/faculty undergraduate research program and
corporate and foundation scholarship programs.
All money raised through LICF goes directly to the
institutions and their students.
The Louisiana Independent College Foundation is a
tax-exempt, non-profit corporation and has been designated as a
501(c) 3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions
are tax deductible. LICF is also a member of the Foundation for
Independent Higher Education (FIHE).
